THE AMERICAN DREAM,
From Pop Art to Today, Caixa Forum, Barcelona
Duration: 5min
Language: Spanish (CAST)
This exhibition shows how Pop Art initiated a visual revolution in American art through printmaking. A revolution whose themes and codes still persist today in our visual culture. Lithographs, screenprints, etchings, aquatints, and woodcuts are among the techniques that have allowed the emergence of a graphic art that is “consumable” by all audiences.
